Leheny Gibson Chardonnay 2013
Tasted January 2017
Warm and dry growing conditions were consistent throughout the season. Yields were down but flavours were full and balanced.
"Rich and complex with some aged Semillon like notes.
Toasty and pure. Palate is very long and mouth filling.
Slightly more colour. Nice bottle development."
18.5+/20 Raymond Chan (19 July 2017) "The wine is rounded, but balanced by fine phenolic textures providing structure and line, leading to an elegant, soft finish with toasty notes."
5 Stars, 95 Points Sam Kim, Wine Orbit (17/07/2017) "The palate is delicate and precise, yet flavoursome and concentrated, delivering layers of fine texture backed by beautifully pitched acidity."
96 Points Bob Campbell MW (24 August 2017) "Good drinking now but with interesting potential. Elegant wine."
